Text gift links and screenshots to Ruminate with the recipient’s name, then find the idea when a birthday or holiday gets closer.
Save it when you discover it
Someone points out a jacket in April. You see a class they would love in June. By their birthday, you are trying to remember which store or studio it was.
Send the idea to Ruminate when you notice it. Keep the product link or screenshot with the person’s name and the detail that made it feel right for them.
Include what you would otherwise forget
For example: “Gift idea for Alex—green gardening gloves, medium. Mentioned needing a new pair.” Add the shopping link or a screenshot showing the item.
For an experience, save the venue link and why it appealed: “Gift idea for Alex—beginner ceramics class. Wants to try the wheel.” You can capture either through Messages without opening Ruminate to write a note.
Find possibilities when the occasion arrives
Search for Alex or gardening when you are ready to choose. Open the original page to check the current price, availability, and options. Reconfirm any size or preference that may have changed.
The saved context helps you remember the person’s interest, rather than simply presenting you with a product you no longer recognize.
Remember what you chose
After buying, send a short note with the person’s name and what you gave them. That history can help the next time you are searching for a thoughtful idea.
Keep the next thing worth remembering.
