THE IDEA

Save a book recommendation by text, keep who recommended it and why, and find the title when you are ready to read something new.

Save it when you discover it

Someone recommends a book over lunch and explains exactly why you would enjoy it. You intend to look it up later. A week passes, and you remember the conversation more clearly than the title.

Text the recommendation to Ruminate before that detail disappears. The title, author, and reason for reading belong together.

Keep the conversation with the title

Try: “Sarah recommended Children of Time by Adrian Tchaikovsky. Reading list—she thought I would like the unusual science fiction.”

If the recommendation arrives as a social post or article, send the link with the part that interested you. A few words of your own context make the recommendation more personal and easier to recognize later.

Add book details when you want them

On a plan that includes book enrichment, send “#book Children of Time by Adrian Tchaikovsky” to request additional book information. Check that the returned title and edition match what you intended.

An ordinary text is enough to preserve the recommendation itself; use the book feature when you want its additional details.

Keep Children of Time by Adrian Tchaikovsky somewhere you can return to.

Return when you want your next read

At the library or bookstore, search for Children of Time, Adrian Tchaikovsky, or Sarah if her name is in the saved entry.

Your reading list can grow one conversation at a time. Send the next recommendation while you still remember why it sounded worth reading.

Keep the next thing worth remembering.
