Ruminate brings notes, supported links, image text, and voice-note transcripts into a searchable collection through SMS and MMS capture. Send each item to the same contact, use the appropriate processing command, and retrieve entries in the app using words saved with the information.
Choose one real project to bring together
Information about one project can live in several places: a measurement in Messages, a product screenshot in Photos, a source link in a browser, and an idea in a voice recording. The challenge is returning to the right detail when it matters.
Try a living-room refresh as a small example. You have a lamp link, a screenshot of a written paint recommendation, and a voice note about furniture dimensions. These do not need the same format to belong to the same project.
Send each item in its useful form
Text the product link to Ruminate. Send the screenshot with #capture for visible-text extraction on a supported plan. Send the audio through the supported voice-note attachment workflow for transcription.
Use “living room” in your context when it is not already present in the source. For the recording, say the project name aloud. Ruminate can process the information, but it cannot know an unstated personal connection between unrelated items.

Review what became searchable
Check the resulting entries once they have been processed. A link may supply accessible page content; a screenshot supplies visible text; a voice note supplies a transcript. Each route has different limits.
A photograph of a green wall does not necessarily contain a paint name. If the name is important, capture its written label or include it in your message. Likewise, verify spoken measurements against the audio before using them for a purchase.
Search the project across saved entries
Open Ruminate and search for living room. Review the matching entries and open the one containing the detail you need. A shared term gives the collection a practical point of connection.
You are not depending on remembering whether the lamp was saved as a link or a screenshot. You are searching the information and context that were saved with it. Use a more specific term when the collection becomes larger.
Does Ruminate automatically import my other apps?
No. This workflow starts with the information you deliberately send to Ruminate. It is not a background scan of your camera roll, email, private conversations, or saved social posts.
Begin with three useful items from one project. Once you can find them together, use the same habit for a trip, a client, or an ongoing purchase decision.
Keep the next thing worth remembering.
